A man is never more truthful than when he acknowledges himself a liar.
When people do not respect us we are sharply offended; yet in his private heart no man much respects himself.
When a person did something bad to you, especially if it’s an act that offends you – most of the time you feel disrespected. You will be agitated with that person, because you know that what he/she did was wrong. What if you experienced failure or if your decision resulted in an unfavorable situation on your side? Would you replay that mistake over and over again in your mind?
A lot of people torture themselves by repeatedly blaming themselves for the failures they encountered in their lives. They tend to be stagnant and unable to move on from a recent bad experience that was brought by their own decisions. This act can lead to negative feelings that can affect our ability to adapt to situations. Deep inside your mind you kept repeating your mistake and hoping that you did the opposite to avert that particular situation. In reality, you can never go back in time and undo what you did.
The best thing you can do is to accept your mistakes and to move on… Failure is an absolute prerequisite for success. You learn to succeed by failing. The person who doesn’t make mistakes is unlikely to make anything.
