Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.
I have been through some terrible things in my life, some of which actually happened.
This simple quote from Tom Sawyer broadens our understanding of things that are out of control, like fearing death, losing your livelihood and other negative thoughts that may not have bearing in reality and can hinder you from achieving what you want. However, it is possible to eliminate bad thoughts but it would take time and effort and all that will be worth it.
Constant worrying drains you out. Remember the time you worry about something? And how much time and energy you wasted. Imagine if you just used that same energy to do something productive. Some problems and trials might not be as big as we thought they are, and some things might just turn out okay in the end.
Just accept things as they come to you live – good or bad! Do not anticipate things that has not happen yet, because this can affect your goals as well as your state of mind and self-esteem. Move one step at a time and tackle any obstacle that come your way – it’s better to focus your energy on your present goals and develop yourself into a positive thinker.
You can only control the NOW. Stop worrying about the past and the future. Be HERE…right now…with yourself…and your surroundings. Take it in. Breathe it out. Being present is the key to success, health, and happiness. 🙂
